35th Annual Campbell Boat Owner's Regatta-2007
Well our 35th Regatta
came and went on Sept 14-16, 2007. Total registration numbers, 37 boats, 94
persons paid. We had a lot of people step up to help volunteer and make this
a very successful event, thanks to all of you. We started on Friday night at
Chili Charlie's for registration and to distribute goody bags and t-shirts.
Saturday morning we were in the channel on a beach with our horseshoe
tournament and people's choice voting. We sold 50-50 tickets and poker/21
hands. In the afternoon it was around the lake for a poker run and come back
to start decorating our "Pirates" boats. Beth Riggen had brought extra
pirate costumes items , so we had a fleet of pirates for the parade. After
successfully taking over the channel with a parade of "Pirates" everyone
headed over to Montana's Steak House for an excellent dinner and our awards
ceremony. Sunday morning was our traditional run up the gorge for lunch at
Park Moabi . Once again thanks to all of you who attended to make this such
a great event and we expect to see more of you next year!
